First off, I usually THINK about stuff way too much so I’m going to make an effort to not overthink my profile.
I’m in the second year of my Master’s Degree in English Studies at Western Washington University and concentrating on rhetoric and composition, or the study of writing. I teach, and I read, and I write A LOT and love to engage in both profound and inane hallway conversations with colleaques.
When I’m not doing any of the above I like to read (sci-fi, fantasy, memoir), flood my brain with inane pop culture facts, sail on Lake Whatcom, hike, run, swim, drive with the convertible top down (all 5 days of the year in WA!), bake cookies….though I usually only eat the cookie dough, listen to jazz and swing, blues, folk, punk and classic rock music, watch and obsess over baseball - especially the SF Giants, Mariners, and Red Sox, read random Wikipedia articles and play little-known card or board games with friends while eating copious amounts of milk chocolate M & M’s.

I think it’s only fair to warn you, I will indeed judge you based upon your literary selection…heed this warning well my friend!
Where is my blog?
Hey! Blogger is down right now, but I got your comment through my email system. I just started blogging again; like you I have in the past either fallen of the wagon or found it took too much time. But, I’m giving it another go.
We should get together for lunch/coffee/whatever next week. I also noticed that we are in the same class but have barely said ten words to each other this quarter!
Oh, beachbody.com is the company that sells the workout videos I mentioned - LOL! I wouldn’t normally give it a second look, but Beth has actually had a lot of success with TurboJam, one of their older series, so they have a good track record with her. Power 90 is supposedly the next level; so I agreed that we would try to do it together and see if it served us well.
I think we’d downed this month’s quota of M&M’s last night.
There’s no such thing as an M&M quota! LOL
Not M&M’s! At least choose fine chocolates.
